Description: This perennial herb is commercially grown as a popular condiment, aromatic stimulant and a remedy against malaria. The aroma is spicy, sharp, warm and pleasant, with a hint of lemon and pepper.
The essential oil consists of borneol, citral, cineole, zingiberene camphene, limonene, among others.
