Lime - Steam Distilled (Citrus aurantifolia) essential oil has an uplifting, fresh aroma which lightens any mood. Used extensively in the perfume industry, as well as a flavoring for ginger ale and some cola drinks. Distilled lime peel essential oils is not phototoxic and is safer to use on the skin, unlike the cold pressed version, especially when going out in the sun. Known to be astringent, antiviral, antiseptic, bactericidal, and restorative to the spirit.
