Description: Distilled Lime has an uplifting fresh aroma which uplifts and lightens the mood. It is used extensively in the perfume industry, as well as a flavoring in ginger ale and some cola drinks. The essential oil is a pale yellow- green liquid with a rich, sweet, lime-citrus aroma.

Lime essential oil is distilled from the peels of Mexican limes. Distilled lime peel essential oil is, unlike the cold-pressed version, is not phototoxic and is safer to use on the skin.

The essential oil contains linalool, terpineol, citral, bergaptene, limonene, linalyl acetate, among others.


Product Application:
Essential oils should never be applied directly on the skin without diluting properly, usually blending with a carrier oil.
