Origin: Spain
Family: Labiatae

Description: This lavender, known as the “male lavender”, has a more robust and intense fresh aroma due to its high camphor content.

It’s flowers are a blue-grey color and taller than most lavenders and native to the Mediterranean region.

The essential oil is a clear to pale yellow liquid with a fresh camphor and herb scent with a dry-woody undertone. The chemical difference of Spike Lavender is not just the high camphor content, but also the1.8 cineole content. In addition, the essential oil contains terpenes, borneol, and linalool, among others.
